Hello! My name is Anna Elise Loprieno, and I am a Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT #141806) with specialized training in Mindful Self Compassion (MSC) and evidence-based behavior modification using both Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) & Comprehensive Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
I believe that the first step to routing a path toward change is first in accepting where we currently are. My approach to the work of connection & collaboration honors a nonjudgmental reflection of each client’s experiences, needs, and goals for their future. Keeping a compassionate lens on ourselves can be hard to balance while also watching out for life’s inevitable curveballs. It is possible to find a new balance by working to reduce the impact of experiences such as anxiety, ruminations, or self-doubt which tend to get in the way of acting according to our individual values.
I would be honored to help you find a more sustainable balance in your own daily experience. – Elise
Anna Elise completed a year-long intensive training in comprehensive Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) as part of our non-profit partnership with Living Success Center before joining our Choices Clinical team in 2021. Anna Elise is also a National Education Alliance for Borderline Personality Disorder (NEABPD) Family Connections leader.
