Analilia Hernandez is a registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT). She earned her Masters of Art degree in Clinical Psychology, with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy, from Azusa Pacific University. Before becoming an AMFT, she dedicated 14 years working as a school teacher, working with children as young as ages 2-10 years old. Analilia spent many of these years not only working with the children in their classrooms, but also working alongside parents and caregivers to provide support, parenting skills, and resources to target challenges in students and families lives.
Analilia is passionate in working with individuals, children, adolescents, and families. Her background has allowed her to work with different cultures, ethnic, religious, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
During the pandemic she was able to see the need for better support for her students and their families; this is what led her to making the switch from educator to community mental health worker.
She is grateful to be a part of her clients’ healing and growth. Her goal is to walk alongside her clients providing a non-judgemental, safe, compassionate, and welcoming experience as she works with clients towards achieving their goals.
