Deanna Hudgins is a Registered Associate Marriage & Family Therapist. She earned her Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology, with an emphasis in Marriage & Family Therapy, from Azusa Pacific University. She began intensive training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) in 2021 and believes strongly in the model’s effectiveness for those who are struggling with high-intensity emotions and behaviors that get in the way of a life worth living. As an advocate for universal access to quality mental-health care, she has participated in DBT-informed group programs serving the Boys & Girls Club and East LA Women’s Center. Deanna has also completed Level 1 training in Restoration Therapy and the Gottman Method for couples therapy.
In session, Deanna strives to blend the principles of comprehensive DBT with an approach rooted in equity, compassion, and respect for each individual’s unique life experience. She is grateful to join clients as a co-navigator and co-learner on their path towards improved mindset, relationships, and well-being.
